For reliable motor protection use the actual motor current (FLA - Full Load Amps) listed on the motor nameplate.
The values shown below are typical for motors running at standard speeds with normal torque characteristics. Motors built for high efficiency, low speeds, high torques, multi-speeds or other special applications may have different Full Load Amps than what is shown in the table. In these cases, the motor nameplate FLA rating must be used. |
